MAC’S MUD CLASSIC WHITE

A smooth fine ultra white clay that performs well as earthenware through to white stoneware. It is ideal for colour and glaze, or on-glaze decoration. Best applications: Throwing and general hand building, where a fine white finish is required. Mesh: 100# Bisque: 1000oC Glaze fire: 1150 – 1280oC Shrinkage 6% wet to dry 8% at 1150o 10% at 1180o 13% at 1220o 14% at 1280o Water absorption 11% at 1150o 8% at 1180o 4% at 1220o 2% at 1280o
